It really sucks that I can not replace my battery. And it run very short! Sometimes it runs out in half day. Firmware 2.1 improved it by like 50% (it's been few days and not sure yet) but still sucks.

Whatever gives you the impression the iPhone loses its memory if its battery is removed?

1. It's flash RAM.
2. The battery is not removable.

I've used the Nokia N95. It's a nifty device, but no Apple product. You can bet Apple will make a significant dent in Nokia's high-end market.

I disagree on some of the aspects you mentioned above.
The things that i don't like abt iPhone is
i) no replaceable battery
ii) Volatile memory.

Most of the s/w things can come as upgrades. so i am not worried about that.
